Blue Team Report

Joe Carp, Sydney Carp, and Laura Glaze

First and foremost, our team would like to take the time to thank each and every one of you for your love, support, and prayers. We were very encouraged knowing that we have such a supportive church family back home. Through this trip, not only the lives of the Lozi people were changed, but ourselves as well.

We know nothing is possible without prayer. Therefore, our goal for the first day was to claim these people and the land as God’s through prayer walking. We then spent each day sharing the Gospel to the Lozi people. Through each divine appointment, many seeds were planted and four
people chose to make Jesus their personal Lord and Savior. Our team also encountered believers who will be instrumental in furthering kingdom work. Through this encounter, we have come to the realization that intentional evangelism should be a top priority in our daily lives.
Through this mission trip, God has called us to respond in a personal way. For Joe Carp, committing to share the gospel everyday through every platform in his life is a top priority. He also committed to a mission-minded lifestyle. Sydney saw the evidence of Christ more than ever which has
led her to be more aware of where Christ is at work. Through this, she has committed to be consistently involved in ministry. Coming on this trip was the final affirmation of God’s will on Laura’s life. She has surrendered to the call of missions. In addition to these personal commitments, we were also challenged by Daniel and Sky Scott through some questions that we would like you to think about as individuals and as a church body.
• How can you be a good steward of your experiences?
• What is your commitment beyond your support?
• Is God calling you to a role or to do something that you have not anticipated or expected?
• Are you prepared to face difficulty, opposition, and misunderstanding from those who don’t share your experiences?
Therefore, remember our goal is to be a living and active Acts 1:8 body of believers. “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria and to the ends of the Earth.” May this letter be an encouragement to you through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Filled with Christ’s Love,
Joe, Sydney, & Laura
