Giving

" Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give,
not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."
- 2 Corinthians 4:7

Giving is an act of worship to God.  In our obedience to Him, giving of our time, talents and financial resources should be an expression of our relationsip with Him.  Giving is not limited to what is placed in the offering plate each Sunday or even through use of this system.  We need to realize that giving doesn't just happen; it takes prayer, planning and sometimes even tough financial decisions in order to have the freedom to give more.

e-Giving - To give online using your credit or debit card (VISA, Mastercard, or Discover) please click on the "Contribute now" button and you will be directed to a secure page where you can complete your donation.  Please consider increasing your donation to cover the 3 to 4% transaction fee the church is charged for online donations.  Your entire donation is tax deductible.

Personalized contribution envelopes - If you desire to bring your tithes and offerings to the church and give during the worship services, we will send offering envelopes to your home throughout the year.  If you do not have offering envelopes but would like some, please contact katkins@tabernaclebaptist.org. Generic envelopes, found in the back of sanctuary pews, can also be used.

Preauthorized payment (Bill Pay) - This is a service most banks provide where you can have your tithes and offerings transferred from your checking or savings accounts to Tabernacle Baptist Church at a set time each month or when you dictate.  To utilize this service, please contact your bank and send the contribution to:

Tabernacle Baptist Church
112 E Church Street
Cartersville, Ga 30120

Bill Pay is typically free of charge; the church receives the full amount of your gift and the bank will even pay the postage!!

Stocks and Mutual fund shares can be donated.  By making a gift for appreciated assets, the capital gains taxes associated with the sale of these holdings may be bypassed.  Contact cayers@tabernaclebaptist.org for details.
